My market leading blue chip client is a FTSE100 Company with an excellent reputation as both a responsible employer and a business that focuses on its customers and service levels.

As it enters a new period of growth and expansion, the customer support team responsible for IT services requires a bright, energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to join their "front of house team".

You will be the face of IT Support, meeting and greeting users, determining their issues and assisting where possible and redirecting to other support teams when you can't.

The main attributes needed for this role are:

- Excellent customer service skills (face to face & via 'phone)
- A basic understanding of IT
- Well-presented, polite, tactful, friendly and approachable.
- Good communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to adapt communication styles to suit the situation and audience
- Able to multi-task remaining calm and professional even in a pressurised customer service environment.
- Quick learner with "can do" attitude

Essential competencies for this role:

Good customer service skills with a good face to face & telephone manner.
Analytical and problem solving skills
Able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel & Outlook) in a professional environment
GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths


Experience of supporting a Windows 8/8.1/10 environment and handheld devices
Configuration of network printers on the server and device side
Previous experience within an IT Helpdesk environment
Experience of using an IT Service Management tool
A level in IT, Maths or Science
