Our client are a growing online technology company, currently looking for C# developers with plentiful experience of creating desktop WPF applications to join them developing new tools to help them scale and improve quality|
Their team requires a broad skill set; processing big data (Hadoop), creating RESTful services (Clojure) and web-based applications (ClojureScript), as well as desktop image processing tools (C#/WPF/C++) and hardware interaction. They are a small, Agile, and cross-functional team that pride ourselves on delivering well architected and tested full-stack solutions
You will be working collaboratively with the Operations team to develop and prototype UI/UX to improve the existing experience of the desktop applications and to take advantage of new technologies coming from our R&D pipeline. Day-to-day you will be implementing new features for existing products as well as working with the rest of the team to develop new products from scratch. The products you create will have users both within the company and with external clients.
• Software engineering, C# and WPF
• Experience in UI/UX design, both desktop and web-based
• Familiarity with functional programming
• Strong teamwork - able to work independently and closely with others as situation and task requires
• Numerate degree or the equivalent in experience
The role is based in their central Cambridge office. There is opportunity for limited remote working, and you also get an annual budget for your own choice of training to develop your professional skills
