What's the Job?
Working with the Systems Team, you'll play an integral part in the day to day management of internal systems; duties will also include:
Working on a range of infrastructure projects (server upgrades; cloud services etc)
Maintenance of the LAN/WAN infrastructure
Management of internal business applications (Exchange; Skype for Business)
Daily management of business critical systems and backups
Advising clients of infrastructure needs to meet their business needs
Implementation of corporate DR strategies
Management of client and service hardware and software (installations; maintenance and upgrades)
Overseeing the Help Desk
Ensuring licence compliance
Support and train other team members
What experience do you need?
You'll need a proven background as a systems engineer and have a huge passion for IT; you'll also need:
At least 3 years working at a Systems Engineer
Good educational background
Strong technical skills (including network security; storage management; Exchange; wireless technology; Windows Server / Active Directory configuration)
Knowledge of Skype for Business; Exchange Online and Wireless/VoIP desirable
Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external customers
A "can do" attitude
