An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Capability Lead to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in London, initially until April 2017 offering up to £600 per day ltd.|
The post holder will be a senior adviser on the Programme and will be responsible for leading the Capability Development work strand in line with the new operating model, taking in to account the business needs of HMCTS and other MoJ stakeholders, providing guidance on capability development aligned to proposed business change and ensuring that the processes developed
The post holder will be responsible for shaping, scoping, planning and managing delivery of an approach to capability development for HMCTS that meets both Reform Programme needs and the wider organisation transformation agenda for the change portfolio.
Key responsibilities for the post holder include; reviewing the existing HMCTS capability development offer in the context of the wider transformational change agenda; developing a new leadership development approach to support HMCTS change leaders; conducting a gap analysis of the current competency model
Strong communication and influencing skills will be essential as the role will involve working closely with stakeholders, staff, managers and members of the judiciary, to help design and implement new business processes
Prior experience of designing and developing leadership development approaches for change leaders that are aligned to business needs
Experience of identifying and developing leadership development interventions to support early implementations
Experience of reviewing Training/Learning and Development providers and negotiating the provider depending on business need
Experience of skills gap analysis and competency model review, analysis and refresh
Experience of capability development planning to support people transition within a wider transformational change context
Ability to lead others through a period of cultural change and to make it a positive experience
A strong background in developing and leading an approach to capability development within a complex operational environment
Skilled and confident in quickly synthesising evidence from a range of sources (including data & analytics) to draw out key insights.
A proven ability to broker solutions across organisations, including managing conflict and competing business priorities
