Position: Senior Web Developer
Location: MediaCityUK, Manchester
Job type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £35-45k plus bonus

We are looking for a senior web developer to help develop and take responsibility of the new products we are developing. The cross functional agile teams based in Media City in Manchester work across a range of technologies and so this is an ideal opportunity to gain exposure to new technologies and skills. In the last year we have developed new products making use of Grails, React, Docker and Android to new just a few.
We are keen to find new outgoing team members who can bring their ideas on how they can improve or existing systems and develop new products for the market, as well as fitting in well with the existing development team.
- Write well-structured and tested code
- Provide input into architecting new solutions
- Play an active role as a member of an agile team
- Take responsibility for the products that you are working on
- Support existing systems in the live environment
- Understand the importance of tracking tools such as Jira
- Maintain system documentation to a high standard
- Suggest new approaches and processes
- Mentor more junior team members
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Writing clean code
- Framework agnostic development
- Interacting with restful web services and websockets
- Version control
