IT Support - 2nd Line, 3rd Line - Beckenham, London - £27,000 plus benefits and private BUPA healthcare

I am currently looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer who will be the point of contact for the IT support function. You will be resolving hardware, software, internet/network problems and new user desktop setups. You will be based in Beckenham but some travel to the Kings Hill office in Kent and other remote sites locally to carry out further support. You must hold a full UK driving license and have your own car. Unfortunately public transport will not suitable for this role due to some of the locations.

Day to day

* Provide training and guidance to junior members of the IT team
* Be the point of contact for 1st and 2nd line support to deal with more complex queries
* Provide 2nd and 3rd Line support across the company for hardware, software and network and server tickets
* Provide a high level of service to all internal staff members prioritising the most important tickets
* Identifying common trends with faults and look into getting them resolved
* Suggest updates to hardware, software or any other equipment that could potentially run quicker and increase the companies productivity
* Review and implementation of new IT equipment

Technical skills and experience required

* Supporting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and mobile devices such as Andriod and iPhone
* Providing support over Windows 7 and Windows 10
* Microsoft Office 2010 to 2016 including Outlook
* Adobe Creative Cloud
* Setup and installation of new software
* Ability to train and guide junior members of the team
* Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff
* Ability to troubleshoot firewalls
* Active Directory admin and support with group policy and security groups
* Excellent verbal communication skills

Benefits plus work hours: 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, BUPA healthcare after probation, auto enroll pension, Monday to Friday 8am start with a 5:30pm finish.

Please note that you will need a FULL UK Drivers license in order to be considered for this role due to the travel between sites.
