Our client is a world leader in the provision and integration of cutting-edge technology, primarily specialist vehicles to the Defence and Security sectors.

They are now seeking an EIISS Help Desk Lead, a Data Analyst to support Users and the EIISS Team with LogIS data queries.

The main focus of this role will be specifying and implementing data changes to the company and MOD Logistic Information Systems (Log IS) and to analyse the dataset to establish trends, areas of improvements and opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:
Drive the help desk team and instil a customer service culture that over delivers
Act as a technical escalation point for team members
Develop inter and intra team processes that promote efficiency and communications excellence
Promote processes that support the ITIL methodology, change management and risk management
Incident Management - The processing and coordination of appropriate and timely responses to incident reports
Customer Support - acting as a single point of contact to EIISS services via phone, fax, email and online for Users who are reporting issues, requesting information, access, or other services
Consultancy - The provision of advice and recommendations, based on expertise and experience, to address user needs
User Access Fulfilment - Fulfilling user access requests relating to EIISS services, in accordance with agreed procedures, and escalating where required.
Measure and report on service delivery performance metrics including customer satisfaction surveys and trouble ticket open, closed and breached statistics.

Qualifications & Experience required

Essential Skills:
Previous experience as Help Desk Lead
Excellent Communication, Written and Verbal Skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Good problem solving skills
Good all round IT skills
ITIL qualification

Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in developing and setting-up a Help Desk
Knowledge of IFS Applications
Knowledge of SysAid Application
Knowledge of Oracle Databases and Oracle client configuration
Familiarity with current British Army tracked and wheeled vehicles
Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Flexible working habits

Software Test Engineer
Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales
£30-42k per annum
