We require a Maintenance Engineering Team Manager (shift based) to join an established, committed frontline team! Your purpose will be to lead a multi-disciplined manufacturing maintenance team, to ensure that both your direct/indirect reports embrace the proactive culture of predictive and planned maintenance this business has developed across the globe.

The Role

•You will be responsible for a small team of Maintenance Technicians and an empowered craft team of multi-skilled technicians and across production and site services.

•You will ensure that appropriate resources, assets and time are available for the application of a systematic approach to maintenance.

•Monitor operational efficiency of all plant and equipment, identifying areas of underperformance or opportunity to deliver continuous improvement

•Responsible for the development and performance management of your team

•You will challenge and improve site engineering performance!


•Experience gained in engineering/maintenance management. Ideally from an FMCG operation, Food or manufacturing.

•The successful candidate should have strong people management and leadership skills, the ability to make decisions and take calculated risks with it, as well as the ability to set and drive a strategy over the next 2 years to move the maintenance function forward
