This a pivotal role for the company, this would best suit someone who driven by growth, someone who thrives on achieving and increasing profitable, sustainable sales. You will be able to utilise your expertise in the Nuclear industry to establish yourself in the market, as well as maximising your network and reputation to expand awareness.
A big part of your role will see you attending seminars and networking at events targeted at the Nuclear industry within your specialisation. You would be responsible for defining and managing an effective strategy for their nuclear business with the General Manager/MD, and meeting annual sales targets agreed with the Board of Directors.
You will be able to flex your excellent people management skills, leading a team of Sales and Applications Engineers to generate opportunities and produce proposals.
What are they looking for?
Due to the technical nature of their products, it is vital you have an understanding of the Nuclear industry, specifically Nuclear processes involved in some of the following: Fuels Production, Power Generation, Waste Treatment, Waste Storage and Reprocessing.
They are a mechanical biased manufacturer so a Mechanical Engineering qualification would be ideal but other Engineering qualifications would still be considered.
As this is a Senior role, you will need to be established in your career with solid experience in nuclear decommissioning or nuclear power generation.
They are happy to consider a Senior Engineer who is interested in taking the next step in their career. Someone who is self-motivated and passionate with strong communication skills are a given for any Marketing Manager.
There will be regular travelling with the role you will need an EU driving licence and be happy to jet around Europe and around the UK up to 50% of your time in the role - If you have any knowledge of French or German you will get the opportunity to put this into practise however it isn't essential.
