We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Support Administrator to join a Royston based team. Initially, you'll be on a 12 month contract, but with scope for extension or even being made permanent. This is a varied and interesting role with the opportunity to help the company develop routines for the manufacturing process. You'll also assist the Manufacturing team with general admin duties. You'll need to have MRP/ERP experience as well as having intermediate to advanced Excel skills. SQL experience would be a bonus, but training can be given for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Assist the Manufacturing Team with general admin duties including updating Planning and Build procedures and work instructions, resolving material issues, kitting and job expediting and creation of Kanban cards
* Support Manufacturing management through creating and maintaining Metrics Dashboard using MS Excel
* Coordinate the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process within manufacturing
* Analysis work via Excel and implementing new or updated processes (this may include hands on work with components)
* Ensure the ERP system is kept up to date
* Provide support to the Planning Manager

What We're Looking For:

* Strong MS Excel skills - you can use formulae and analyse data!
* Confident use of SQL would be a huge plus!
* GCSE/AS/A level Mathematics
* Previous experience of an MRP II or ERP control system in a manufacturing environment
* You'll be a strong user of PCs and Microsoft software packages
* Youandrsquo;re a 'hands-onandrsquo; kind of person
* Experience providing support to manufacturing / production teams
* Experience working in a multi-product, mixed processes manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes
* Analytical/numerate
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings would be a plus
* Excellent Communication skills
* Good judgement (Cost vs. Benefit vs. Risk)
* Interpersonal skills
* Self motivated and confident
* Systematic / pragmatic
* Flexible, multi-tasking
* Estimation and planning skills would be a bonus
