Production Technicians (Maintenance)|
Location - Huntertson A - North Ayrshire
Day rate - £12.55 PAYE per hour
Duration 12- months (+)

Edgar Stewart's client urgently require Production Maintenance Technicians to be based on site at Hunterston A.
As Production Maintenance Technician, you will undertake assigned tasks within the Maintenance Team, having full regard to Site License Requirements, Statutory Regulations and Company and Location Directives, Procedures and Safety rules.
In this job, you will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
* Core maintenance duties within his/her own level of demonstrated competence.
* Operational tasks within scope and competence and to assist with fault investigations.
* Provide technical support to current and future project design and implementation.
* You may be required to fulfil a role in the Site Emergency Scheme.
* Support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality on Site.
* Complete training as defined in Common Training Profiles, supplemented by Site Specific Training Profiles when required.
As a customer-focused individual, you will be expected to support delivery within his or her range of skills, knowledge, experience and competence.
As you will be working on a Nuclear site, you will Comply with the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments as well as support colleague's learning and development through knowledge sharing, task instruction etc.
Due to the nature of the role you may be required to achieve various authorisations in order to carry out the full scope of the role. The requirements for specific authorisations are specified in Common Authorisation Instructions.
As a minimum, Our Client, wishes to speak with candidates who have an appropriate technical qualification e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC ONC, (NQF Level 3) as well as demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Candidates with prior experience working within the Nuclear Industry will be considered highly desirable.
In return Our Client is offering a minimum 12-month contract, coupled with a competitive rate of pay that will incorporate travel and subsistence. In addition, you may also be able to work flexible working hours.
