Two immediate opportunities for skilled Automation Maintenance Technicians with solid machine tool background are now available working within a high-tech aerospace manufacturing facility.|
The Maintenance Engineers are sought as this busy facility moves to 24/7 production therefore a new continental shift will be put in place. We are seeking Engineers to provide reliable, consistent and predictable access to automated manufacturing machines by client production team, by the constant and effective delivery of routine, planned and reactive servicing and maintenance. You will:
* Be technically skilled in Electrical, Control & Automation equipment maintenance with a degree of mechanical skills
* Have proven experience of programming precision automated machinery with specific experience of Siemens PLC's and CNC technology - 840D is preferred.
* Preferably you will have experience of robotics - ideally Fanuc or Kuka - with the ability to fault find and make programme changes
* It is essential you have solid experience of fault find and maintenance of complex 5-axis machine tools / special purpose machinery / large gantry machinery
A general appreciation and a high level of performance in adherence with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements of all activities is essential.
This role would be ideal for Service/Commissioning Engineers seeking a site based opportunity. You will be working with the highest levels of automation technology with a stable and growing business.
