Exciting opportunity for two experienced Mechanical Service Engineers who are flexible for international travel to join an expanding special purpose machinery manufacturer who have an excellent global record for high quality products.|
Working within an established team, the roles are available due to high workload and subsequent expansion. The position will involve setting & testing capital equipment prior to despatch, commissioning machinery on-site and training of operator/maintenance personnel. Duties will also include:
* Final testing and assembly of machinery in preparation of inspection
* Installation & commissioning of machinery on a global scale
* Providing training courses both on-site and internally
You will have a strong mechanical bias including a proven record of mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis. You will also;
* Be able to use measuring equipment i.e. micrometre and Vernier callipers
* Be able to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings along with pneumatic drawings and circuits
* Have a basic understanding of electrical control circuits
* Have a basic understanding of PLC machine control - Siemens/Allen Bradley would be ideal
Paying a base salary £30-35k depending on experience with benefits that include profit share, pension and overseas allowances, this role is based in South West Midlands and is commutable from within and around the following areas: Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Worcester.
