Expanding integrator within process automation now seeks a Control Systems Engineer with solid water experience and full project lifecycle exposure.

You will be joining a professional and friendly team of Engineers taking responsibility for managing and taking ownership of numerous control projects. You will become the main point of contact for the customer including managing sub-contractors and controlling procurement. Duties will include:

* Produce project programmes, cost reports and manage resources
* Produce specifications and design documentation
* Configure and develop software for a wide variety of applications
* Test and commission safely in a working end user environment
* Understand a project lifecycle from concept through to completion
* Maintain high standards and be consistent throughout the design process
* Work as part of a team and be adaptable to a range of environments

It is essential you have proven solid background of PLC systems software design utilising Rockwell Allen Bradley software. However for the right candidate, Siemens can also be considered. Ideally you will also have SCADA/HMI ability, however PLC is key. It is also essential you have the ability to complete documentation such as FDS/URS and test specifications.

Preferably you will be degree qualified with c5 years+ relevant experience in a similar role. Strong written and spoken communication skills are needed along with a full UK valid driving licence. With the projects being diverse over various industries the ideal candidate needs to be adaptable and willing to learn with work flexibility as travel throughout the UK will be needed.
