To meet the demands of increased growth and expansion within the company a position of CNC Miller has arisen. Reporting into the Section Leader, the role of CNC Miller involves producing components from various industrial plastics, programming machines with HAAS, Fanuc and Siemens controls and generating CNC programmes using G-Code programming.
You will also be required to carry out first-off inspection, identify drawing errors and,
as the company operates a Continuous Improvement ethos, you will also be encouraged to suggest improvements to product design to produce a higher quality product in a more economical run time.
As a time served / HNC qualified Mechanical Engineer you will have previous experience within a CNC machining environment working on 3 and 4 axis machines. You must also have experience in the machining of various industrial plastics such as PTFE, Acetal and Nylon.
You must be able to interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances along with good team working skills and delivering results to set deadlines.
