Control & Instrumentation Technician - Power Generation|

We are currently seeking to recruit a Control & Instrumentation Technician / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer / E&I Technician / EC&I Engineer, to work on a range of Renewable Energy / Power Generation / Biogas plants across the South of the UK. Our client is a leading company within the Renewable Energy industry, with the opportunity for an experienced C&I Engineer to join their team.
As a Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Planned and preventative maintenance across the sites
* Providing specialist maintenance, repair & troubleshooting to support all C&I equipment
* Ensuring that essential services such as software backups and PLC programs are kept up to date & available
* Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation maintenance on heavy process plant / power generating equipment (PLCs, sensors, fault finding, etc.)
* Ensuring that the plant runs at optimum capacity with minimal downtime
* Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you should ideally be a Time-served Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) with a strong understanding of Controls & Instrumentation. PLC programming & fault finding knowledge is essential. You should also have relevant experience maintaining large/heavy process equipment, and be flexible working across multiple sites based in the South.
The package on offer for this position includes an attractive salary in the range of £35,000-£40,000, plus company van, benefits, etc. This is a field based position therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email a copy of your latest CV
