The Role
To support, facilitate & coach the rollout of Lean initiatives throughout the operation. Works with manufacturing management to help realise CI projects.

The Opportunity
The Continuous Improvement Facilitator will be a key member of the manufacturing engineering team reporting to the Operations and Quality Functions. This position will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing teams in value stream improvements, focusing on process reliability & capability to create flow and to ensure that customer demands are met on time in full and to the highest quality. The position will work closely with the teams throughout all the manufacturing areas of the Organisation to help promote a continuous improvement culture through a PDCA process.
- You will be expected to facilitate practical training & the implementation of Lean practices, tools & techniques including:
Identification of Waste reduction and improvement through Value Stream Mapping
Layout of manufacturing cells and production lines
Design for lean
Knowledge of 6 Sigma and statistical process control methods

*Be able to demonstrate implementation of Lean strategies within a manufacturing environment.
*Be expert in use and deployment of Lean tools and methods
*Demonstrate their ability to drive "culture change"
*Work within, and lead, multi discipline and cross functional teams driving efficiency and productivity improvements
*Develop a standardised approach to Business improvement across the business
Ideally hold an accredited Lean qualification
The Profile (Critical)
HNC or higher in Engineering
Experience of statistical software packages
2 years or more manufacturing experience

The Remuneration
DOE - £32 - 36k (More depending on experience)​ + 25 days holiday pa plus Bank Holidays + BUPA healthcare + life assurance + Company pension + Company sick pay+ subsidised canteen + secure on-site parking
