A supply chain and logistics company are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Manager to join their team with immediate effect. |
To effectively manage all functions of the Sales Office, holding Management responsibility for all staff, processes, and Sales & Admin activities. The focus will be on managing, motivating, and mentoring the team to ensure maximisation of sales opportunities & activities. To also act as a management level interface with external customers
(a) Provide effective Management of Sales Office, to include day to day management of staff, processes, procedures, and general administration, in line with both company and customer expectations.
(b) Act as a Management level interface with Customers and Internal departments, ensuring communication, information flow & order processing remains smooth & efficient at all times.
(c) Mentor and Develop Sales Office personnel, monitoring performance, activities, workloads, and assisting in staff development & training.
(d) Educate and encourage Sales Personnel in areas of new account sales, account growth, multi-product sales, after-sales, and customer care
(e) Maximise sales activities, revenue streams, and margin improvement across the customer base
(f) Promote and encourage customer account development & customer relations to both existing and potential new customers.
(g) Ensure highest levels of service are delivered at all times. Manage customer service review programme & feedback, and action as required.
(h) Continuously monitor Sales Office Processes and Procedures, to ensure adherence, and proactively review to recommend improvements.
(i) Liaise with Managing Director to ensure priorities & activities as outlined are maintained, and proactively communicate sales opportunities to MD and/or Business Development Manager

Proven Staff Management experience
Engineering or Manufacturing Background
Product and Service Sales management Experience
Proven Staff Development/Mentoring experience
Sales Development Experience (ideally external and internal)
Sales Office Management background
