An exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join this prestigious name and brand within the automotive industry. You will be working within First Class manufacturing facilities in a fast paced hands on role. The company have a strong budget for training and look at progressing engineers within.|
Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday - 3 shift system rotates on a weekly basis - 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00
Background required: Must have previous experience working with automated machinery in a maintenance environment.
Essential Skills required:
*Time served apprenticeship trained
*Previous experience working with highly automated systems
*Strong electrical fault finding skills, with a drive to develop
*Knowledge of PLC systems
Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
*Ensure the plant maintains maximum efficiency in this fast paced role, with minimum downtime with high pressure from suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:
- HNC in Electrical or equivalent, Minimum NVQ level 3/ONC/Btec Level 3
- Thorough practical knowledge and experience in electrical engineering and knowledge of mechanical engineering.
- A sound working knowledge of Maintenance techniques associated with autonomous, preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Adheres to safety and quality standards to ensure the work is completed to the highest possible standards.
- Knowledge of working with PLC programs beneficial
- Previous experience working in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Good electrical fault finding skills
The company always progress within, train and mentor and offer team leading/supervisory roles for the willing engineer.
