This role is the primary point of contact for the implementation, administration and support of Microsoft Project Online with the objective to ensure it is optimized and used effectively to support the organization and works directly with the PMO. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting and conducting analysis for the project and program delivery, development of the corporate and business portfolio project roadmaps, capacity and schedules within the software and identifying alternatives for the practical use of Microsoft Project Online operationally in the PMO. In addition, you will provide training support to Project Managers and other users working within the software and ensure consistency of its use and perform Project Server related data analysis and reporting on behalf of the PMO including: Administer, monitor and control use, quality and adherence to standards Consolidation of project information to develop and maintain key Enterprise Project Portfolio Reporting which provides an informative view of the performance of projects and portfolios Analysis and management reporting of resource capacity in key areas in relation to the corporate project portfolio schedule Active monitoring and reporting of projects Assist in the development and effective portfolio tracking and reporting of key performance metrics such as Phase Gate Management, Risk Management and Benefits Management Assist the Director, Project Management Office with key initiatives through the development & maintenance of aggregate projects schedules and work plans, reports, analysis, operational process documentation and presentations as required Maintenance of related decision, risk, issue, change, deliverable and status reporting logs Assist in the coordination and facilitation of final decision support, risk, issue and change request management Support the creation of key stakeholders and steering committees meeting materials; agendas, notes, key decisions and action items Support and maintain PMO Department Share Point sites and shared drives Assist with on-boarding activities for new resources Must haves: Strong understanding of PMI management standards across the Project Lifecycle and Phase Gate Framework A working knowledge of project management methodologies and a clear understanding of project management best practices is required Solid experience and skills in configuring, administration and uses of Microsoft Project Online or Microsoft Project Server 2013 and Microsoft SharePoint Over 6 years of related work experience is required and experience in a Project or Project Management Office environment Experience in Multi-Stakeholder engagement processes/situations CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) designation or active pursuit thereof will be considered an asset Post-secondary education Must be eligible to work in Canada Flexibility to work additional hours on occasion as needed to meet key deliverables or deadlines Thank you for your interest!
