Reporting directly to the group CEO, we are looking for a c-level strategy officer who can help our client develop their strategic plan and its associated strategy execution framework. You will be responsible for driving corporate performance management and facilitating strategy execution to yield sustainable growth through the group and its subsidiaries. To be successful, you will need the ability to challenge the status quo and to display a genuine passion for strategy execution.

You will work across all divisions and departments within the groups' corporate functions and subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities and activities

Strategy Development:
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Strategy Delivery Office
- Lead strategic context analysis (internal and external) to assess key challenges and evaluate opportunities
- Develop and refine the group's business model and long-term strategy
- Translate the company's strategy into an actionable strategy execution framework, including five -year and annual objectives, KPIs, targets and strategic initiatives Strategy execution:
- Plan, prioritize, monitor and report the group's strategic initiatives
- Implement the Strategy Execution Framework across the group and monitor business performance
- Facilitate Strategy review meetings in line with the governance calendar
- Lead post acquisition integration initiatives
- Lead the internal initiatives for knowledge sharing
- Monitor and identify the group's strategic risks and define associated mitigation plans

Monitoring and Reporting:
- Align corporate functions, subsidiaries and other key stakeholders to group's strategic direction
- Align corporate targets with employee performance management system
- Facilitate group-wide and/or cross-subsidiary initiatives targeting operational transformation and improvements
- Monitor business performance and the implementation and progress of the strategic initiatives across the group and its subsidiaries
- Communicate the progress of Strategy across the group and its subsidiaries

- 15+ years of relevant professional experience, 5+ years in strategy planning (required) and strategy execution (preferred), 5+ years experience in GCC (preferred), 5+ years experience in investment and operations (preferred)
- Track record developing and leading strategic initiatives for conglomerates or multi -company organizations
- Track record of turnaround initiatives for multi-company organizations
- Experience working with governmental entities

Other Qualifications
- Masters Degree: MBA, MSC
- Excellent standard of English oral and written communication
- "Out-of-the-box" thinker with a strong problem-solving aptitude
- Proven leadership and management skills as well as outstanding interpersonal skills with tactical agility
- Pragmatic and comfortable handling ambiguity to deliver results
