We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team in Marinette, WI!

Winter/Spring Term (December 2016 – May 2017) and Spring/Summer Term (June - December 2017).

Job Responsibilities:
• Safety
o Conduct safety assessments
o Complete safety projects
• Quality
o Review quality metrics for opportunities to improve
o Support quality studies conducting FEMA, MSA, and other quality improvement exercises
• Delivery
o Support on-time delivery initiatives
o Support lean initiatives to improve primary value streams
• Cost
o Drive cost out of products
o Review and improve processing to increase productivity


• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Completed sophomore year working towards a degree or completed first year of a degree.
• Qualified majors: Manufacturing, Engineering, Management, Business.

Must have applied knowledge of process improvement.
Must be familiar with lean and or six sigma methodologies.
• Strong analytical ability to solve programs and ability to learn quickly
• Strong written & verbal communication skills to generate process instructions and reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams with minimum guidance
• Ability to follow a structured project management process including document meeting minutes, action items, and monitor progress.

• Previous business internship/co-op experiences with strong business acumen beneficial (preferable not required)
• Demonstrated leadership experience.

Assignment starts June 2017, must be able to start within this timing.
