OVERVIEW Our Driver will operate our trucks hauling scrap metal to and from different locations to ABC Fort St. John. Occasionally, Driver may need to haul material to and from other ABC locations and partner companies. This is a casual/part-time position operating out of our Fort St. John location, but may be asked to travel to other locations if it is NA ideal candidate will have clean driving record along with experience operating dump truck, roll-off, A/B Train and end dumps. The ability to complete logs and reports and carry out the instructions is also NA · Performs pre/post-trip inspections of the vehicle assigned to drive · Communicates with customers in a professional manner · Carries out general safety practices of a commercial driver · Follows guidelines for safe load securement · Carries out instructions from Dispatch in a timely and professional manner QUALIFICATIONS · Must have valid Class 1 License · Preferably 3-4 years' experience · Experience with long haul trips · Experience with self-loading cranes or Hiab is a definite asset IMPORTANT We frequently operate on and service federally regulated customers that require regular and random drug and alcohol screening (including suppliers and contractors). As such, you will also be subject to an initial and then ongoing random drug and alcohol screening as a condition of your NA · $30/hr + depending on experience WORKING CONDITIONS What makes a good company great?
