I can pay up to £45,000 plus a travel allowance, healthcare and pension for the successful candidate.
My client, a regional main contractor based in East London, are looking for a Finishing Foreman to work on a £6 million private residential project based in East London. The project is coming to the close and they need somebody in to help bring in the project on time and to budget. Current turnover is £50 million and they have been turning over £50 million for the last 5 years. They have been established for 30 years and are happy with their current turnover.
It consists of 18 private flats valued between £300,000 - £500,000, it's a traditional build project with mid spec finish.
The contractor are well known for having a high staff retention, they don't usually look for people but due to a surge in work they need to take on 1 or 2 managers.
A Finishing Foreman's duties will consist of:
* Attending daily briefings
* Overseeing site operations
* Supervising sub-contractors and other labour workers
* Maintaining health and safety records
* Managing plant and labour returns
* Ordering and following up on site material deliveries
I feel this is an interesting role for somebody who is working for a contractor and feels like a number, if you want to work for a contractor that really looks after their staff and helps them develop then please get in touch.
