Sheltered Housing Officer|
Are you a sheltered housing officer looking for part time work? Then this may be the position for you as my client from a local authority in west London is looking to appoint a contractor to work 17.5 hours a week, paying £16.87 per hour.
1 To assist sheltered housing tenants to maintain their well-being and independence and to provide high quality, safe and value for money housing services that meet tenants' identified needs and the service objectives.
1 To aim to make face to face contact with each tenant on a weekly basis
1 To check all communal areas each week reporting any health, safety and cleanliness concerns to the Senior Sheltered Housing Officer.
1 To work with the housing management team to meet all legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure clean and safe homes for the sheltered scheme tenants, including undertaking risk assessments as needed and ensuring faults and repairs are reported and monitored
1 To assess new tenants' individual needs, working with tenant's families and appropriate external agencies, preparing and reviewing needs and risk assessments as necessary throughout the tenancy
1 To encourage good neighbor schemes, improve resident involvement and promote well being. To include establishing and maintaining links with the local community and external agencies and ensure events and involvement activities are accessible and benefit the wider community where possible.
