I am currently recruiting for an extremely social and busy practice based just to the north east of the city, looking for a Senior Architect with experience on the construction and deliver side of projects. They are currently working on a £20m Residential project, with multiple (40+) unit projects also underway too. Other key sectors are Commercial, Education, Retail.|
As such, 3 years UK experience minimum on delivery as a Senior Architect is required, as well as the ability to lead a team of Architects and Assistants. One of the key criteria is the ability to take a project to completion, and take ownership over the projects.
The practice is run as a two faced company - encompassing both design and construction. As a Senior Architect, you will be tasked with ensuring the collaboration and delivery of the work, through the use of the in-house Construction team. Some of the key day to day responsibilities are as follows:
* Project Running through to Completion
* Working multiple projects concurrently
* Technical Detailing and Drawings
* Leading small teams within the practice
* Working hand-in-hand with developers
The practice is based in Revit, but they are happy to provide in house training where required, so don't let that put you off! AutoCAD is the 2D program of choice. As a Senior Architect you will still be required to do technical drawing, as all members of the team are hands on with the projects.
The main thing is that as a Senior Architect you have experience working directly with the guys on site!
Please do not hesitate to apply if you are interested! This is a growing practice, with an incredibly exciting pipeline of work, and would be a great next move for anyone wanting developer side exposure.
