We are looking for Paint Preppers/Polishers who can join our Composites business in Milton Keynes.

Prodrive Composites operates across a wide range of industry sectors including automotive, aerospace and motorsport, manufacturing high quality precision composite components to short timescales and to varied volumes. With proven capability in the whole manufacturing process from design of the component and production of the tooling to high volume manufacture with CNC machine trimming and finishing the components. Customers range from the manufacturers of the world’s best supercars to explorers of other planets.

Job Purpose:

  • To prepare composite components ready for lacquer

  • To polish composite components post lacquer to defined customer standards

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing the composite components ready for lacquer

  • Finishing components to a very high standard

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workstation

  • Checking finished jobs as part of quality control

  • Familiar with composite repair techniques

Ideal Candidate:

  • Composites experience is essential

  • Preferred industry would be Automotive. Ideally high end/classic cars.

  • A can do approach.  Must possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems.

  • Relentless in exceeding customer expectations and continually exceeding goals.

  • A commitment to achieving the best solutions i.e. rigorous approach to work.

  • Flexible attitude is essential.

  • May be required to work extended hours, shifts or weekends.

  • Naturally well organised individual

  • Able to follow set processes and achieve defined standards to target time

  • Strictly adheres to company health and safety policies
