We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Castleford team,
reporting to the Service Supervisor.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the role of the Installer (Civil) will be to carry out all-round
ground work to help refurbish or repair a variety of equipment, including traffic signaling and other
electrical street equipment CCTV and barrier systems along with installation of civil infrastructure
such as ducting, poles, chambers, paving etc. to customer specifications. Main duties will include
flagging, ducting, kerbing and backing filling.
Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring that QHSE regulations and procedures
are followed at all times.
Although predominantly based in the North East area, there may be a requirement from time to
time to work in other Service Centre districts which may involve overnight stays.

1. Installing all aspects of the clients portfolio to a high standard and the customerâ€™s specifications.
2. To ensure that all your PPE is safe, complete and being correctly used / worn.
3. Ensure your vehicle, tools, spares and equipment to be used are in a safe and useable condition.
4. Take control of a site and deliver the works on time, undertaking a clean hand-over to the customer.
5. Ensure you are aware of the project you are working on, customer details and project scope prior to starting.
6. Work sheets and time sheets are completed accurately and submitted on time.
Complies with all QHSE Regulations and procedures for this role.

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience
Sector 8 Accreditation
Understanding of traffic signal site installation and basic theory
Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
A can do attitude
Full driving license
Basic electrical knowledge.

Ability to work on own.
Ability to work at heights.
