Salary: Up to £19,000 per annum plus benefits (including vehicle)

telecommunications is recruiting for a number of Trainee Installers to join the team at their Castleford based offices. Their key focus is creating relationships and delivering to a high quality and living their core values.

Our client has a number of vacancies for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join their Castleford team, reporting to the Service Supervisor.
The role of the Trainee Installer will be to learn to install, refurbish and/or repair a variety of
equipment, including traffic signaling and other electrical street equipment such as street lighting,
CCTV and barrier systems etc. to customer specifications. The successful candidate will have a
good aptitude for learning.
Customer service is key to delivery as well as ensuring that QHSE regulations and procedures
are followed at all times.
Although predominantly based in the North East (Yorkshire) area, there may be a requirement
from time to time to work in other Service Centre districts which may involve overnight stays.
To become proficient in installing.
Represent the companies best interests at all times.
Ensure variations to the contract are reported back to the supervisor in a timely fashion.
Assist in maintaining Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental accreditations.
Installing all aspects of the clients portfolio to a high standard and the customers specifications.
To ensure that all your PPE is safe, complete and being correctly used / worn.
Ensure your vehicle, tools, spares and equipment to be used are in a safe and useable condition.
Ensure you are aware of the project you are working on, customer details and project scope prior to starting.
Work sheets and time sheets are completed accurately and submitted on time.

Basic electrical knowledge.
Good mechanical aptitude
The ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
The ability to work at heights.
An organised and enthusiastic work ethic.
Full driving license
