Project Manager - Major Contractor - Permanent - Epsom, Surrey - up to £70k basic plus package|
Vacancy: Currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) to run a £13.4m New Build Education project in Pesom, Surrey from conception through to final completion (handover). You will be the Project Lead with a Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager working underneath you. You will in turn report to a visiting contracts manager who will visit on occasion but would expect you to run the job with full autonomy.
Client: A TOP 3 major contractor across Sussex and Surrey, they have secured several new contracts valued between £4Million to £36Million . My client has a large portfolio of contracts including leisure, retail, education and healthcare across Sussex and Surrey. Down to growth within the business and securing these new contracts they have a very exciting Project Manager position available.
Ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have a solid background & proven track record of delivering contracts between £4Million to £20Million in sectors including - Education, Retail, Commercial, Leisure & Healthcare.
* Managed contracts between £4 - £20Million
* Previous experience working on commercial/educational contracts for a main contractor is desirable
* Managed Design and build contracts
* Hardworking and dedicated
* Managing construction teams
* Experience using programming software (Microsoft Project)
* Strong organisational skills with a strong methodical approach
* Strong knowledge of the construction process
* Relevant Degree educated is desirable
