Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Corporate Travel Counselor within our Travel Services department based in Houston, TX.


- Coordinates travel (air, car, hotel, transfers) for clients traveling domestically and/or internationally in a timely, accurate, friendly and professional manner

- Provide online booking support for clients, including changes in their travel arrangements

- Ensure travel is booked in compliance with company policies/procedures, contracts, and customer service standards

- Assists travelers with necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances required for travel

- Work with internal departments to coordinate meetings and group travel

- Maintain knowledge of company travel contracts and industry requirements

- Provide high quality/accuracy of work throughout the reservation process

- Perform other duties/projects as needed.


- Travel Counselor Certification with a minimum 7 years' corporate travel domestic/international experience

- Strong Native Sabre skills

- Strong knowledge of fare structures in association with contracted fares

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as internet usage

- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with flexibility to adjust to changes quickly and positively

- Business Acumen: Ability to comprehend understand policies/practices, keep
up-to-date on travel industry standards, practices, and changes in industry

- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

- Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work and multitask effectively in an fast paced environment with competing demands

- Results-oriented: Strong sense of urgency with ability to learn and execute quickly and efficiently

- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to maintain a professional rapport with clients

- Geography and international destination knowledge

- Ability to keep information confidential

- Willingness to work overtime as needed


- Experience with complex international fares

- Experience with complex ticketing & exchanges
