An Exciting opportunity has arisen for en Electrical Multi-Skilled Site Engineer to join a prestigious rewarding company based in the Rushden area. |
You will be working within a team of two to provide site maintenance of machinery and general facilities.
You will provide electrical and mechanical support to a variety of Vanderlande conveyors, sorters and other associated equipment.
Repair contacts, sensors, switches, relays, motors, gear boxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and basic Siemens S7 PLC fault finding.
You will also be accountable for the general up keep and maintenance of the lighting and general facilities and site services.
There are elements of the site that will require outside contractors to provide specialist maintenance and support. You will manage these contractors when on site looking at ensuring all work is carried out effectively.
You will be able to take responsibility of reducing costs and souring new suppliers or outside contractors.
Handing small to medium projects
Looking to continually improve site performance, machine reliability, reduce costs, getting better services from out sourced work.
Manage a PPM system
The successful candidate will have completed an Apprenticeship, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
It would be advantageous if you have the ability to fault find on Siemens S7 PLC's.
You must have gained previous working experience from a Distribution or warehouse environment.
Preferably experience with Vanderlande equipment however others will be considered.
Have the abi8lity to be forward thinking and happy in approaching management about new ideas and improvement plans.
Ability to work in a small team but also on own initiative.

Flexible working hours 40 hours per week
