Site Manager required for this developer, for their residential new build project, based in Harrow.

They employ 350 staff, with their head office in Herts, they are an award winning developer, with regional offices north of the Home Counties. This company has huge growth and looking at doubling turnover in the next 5 years, with a huge opportunities for career development.


Promote health, safety and environmental issues (in line with company policy) on all sites to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained.
To oversee the production on site, to deliver projects on time and accurately report current position on programmes to the pre-determined targets.
To carry out the construction in the most effective manner and deal with all obstacles efficiently and appropriately
To drive liaison with utility companies to ensure timely connections
To issue sub-contractor notice to commence, prepare and issue short term programmes and effectively hold/input into sub-contractor meetings and record/distribute minutes of the meeting
Undertake material take-off`s, Order, plan and schedule material delivery requirements and prepare accurate and timely material requisitions in line with the contract specification, Ensuring sufficient time is provided to enable the buyers suitable time to attain the best rates, minimising unnecessary storage on site whilst having sufficient material on site to maintain progress with the construction programme.
Ensure all Health and Safety/ISO procedures are followed.
Ensure sales presentation is maintained at all times in conjunction with the sales teams and strategy.
Handover completed scheme to client on time, to agreed quality standard and budget

Experience Required

Self-motivation, drive and passion to succeed whilst being able to make balanced decisions giving guidance and support to other members of the production team.
A proven track record of quality delivery on time is paramount.
Recent experience of working on mixed used schemes incorporating mainly residential and affordable housing ideally on projects £10m+ incorporating RC Frame, traditional construction and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5.
Recent experience of working on centralised heating systems
Recent experience and proven track record with Customer/Sales focus
