My client is a looking for an experienced receptionist to work in their office in Nottingham. They are a leading Housing Developer. Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment, overseeing the front of house for a busy corporate business.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Providing a professional, polite reception service to all customers
* Providing a professional, friendly and efficient reception service to employees
* Ensuring the reception and switchboard service operates smoothly and efficiently
* Receiving incoming calls and routing them as required, dealing with caller enquiries relating to any aspect of the business
* Receiving guests and visitors
* To answer calls to the switchboard and redirect calls appropriately
* Booking meeting rooms and hospitality for staff
* Ensuring meeting rooms and related equipment are set up as requested
* Dealing with deliveries and courier collections
* Monitoring access control systems and issuing swipe cards
* Ensuring the reception area, meeting rooms and kitchen are clean and tidy at all times
* Assisting with compliance with H&S regulations
* General admin duties and other office management tasks as allocated from time to time

Skills and capabilities:

* Good knowledge of switchboard operation
* Good knowledge and understanding of customer service
* Good all round communication skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the telephone
* Ability to deal with internal and external customers politely and efficiently
* No specific qualifications are required for this role
* Friendly, welcoming and professional in approach
* A confident communicator
* A flexible approach to working hours as a weekly shift pattern is in operation
* Previous customer service experience is essential, preferably in a reception environment
* Computer literate and experienced in MS office
* Ability to prioritise under pressure
* Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
