The Company

ATA recruitment is currently working with a highly successful manufacturing business who have been established for over 40 years, they are constantly looking to improve their site and have recently invested in brand new machinery and are in the process of building a brand new 35,000 sq ft site which will allow them to paint their products as well as manufacture them.

The company's unique selling point is that they can offer a huge range of products meaning the customer can get everything under one roof, the installation team is responsible for managing the clients to ensure that each project is installed correctly and on time whilst providing excellent customer service.

They are now looking to recruit an Installation Manager who will be responsible for ensuring all domestic installations run to schedule. If you are a highly organised individual with previous experience of managing sub-contract labour and are looking for a new challenge then apply now!

The Role

The role of Installation Manager will involve:

You will be responsible for organising the scheduling of all domestic installation projects, this could be between 15 and 20 at one time.

Each project could last for up to 6 weeks.

Working with the sales teams to understand what projects are in the pipeline.

Organising the site surveys in order to measure up the properties.

Once the site has been measured and the client has picked the products they want you will liaise with manufacturing to ensure the lead time is in line with the anticiapted delivery date.

Once the products have been built you will then be responsible for managing all sub-contract fitters ensuring installations happen within the agreed time frame, also making sure the fitters have the right tools and materials to do the job.

The average project is worth around £3000.

You will need to have excellent customers service skills as the role will involve liaising directly with the client at all stages of the project.

The role is will be 100% based from the office in Lincoln.

The Candidate

To be successful as an Installation Manager you will need:

To have experience in a role which has involved managing/planning sub contract labour, this could be in any sector.

To be highly organised as the role involves managing multiple projects at once.

Excellent customer service skills.

Commutable to Lincoln.
