We are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to join the business & civils division of our communications team working on our prestigious Virgin Media contract operating across the South of England.

As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing Area Managers, Project Managers, and Site Managers etc., ensuring that all work is completed safely and within a timely and professional manner, hitting SLA/LTO or exceeding stringent service level agreements.

Main Responsibilities of Contracts Manager:

•To ensure jobs are completed to the required timescales maintaining compliance with all quality and safety requirements.
•To ensure all SLA/LTO results meet agreed targets.
•To ensure that adequate resource and skills are deployed by the supply chain to execute the required programme of work, for both BAU and Project Lightning activity
•To take action with the supply chain, and direct operational teams, to rectify any persistent poor performance or non-compliance. To ensure good management practices within team.
•To ensure all works in public highway are completed in accordance with NRSWA code of practice.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent commercial awareness, with a proven track record in a similar role within the contracting or preferably the telecoms/utilities market. Strong communication skills, client focus, and a flexible approach are also essential. Promoting and ensuring the team continually improve performance in Health, Safety & Environment are also key requirements of the role
