Python Developer - Lead - Drive Best Practice|
Python Developer needed to join a hugely successful start up and lead a small but highly skilled team. This startup has already proven the validity of their product, gained significant revenue and are now looking to scale up their team and break into new markets. Their product is a mobile messaging platform which they sell as a white label product to their customers.
The Lead Python Developer who join this team will be working in a microservices environment using Flask and Celery. You don't need experience with these frameworks just a willingness to pick them up. This is a team which values quality over speed when it comes to development, everything is heavily tested and built with reliability, performance and security in mind. As Lead Developer within this team you would work closely with the Head of Engineering, the ScrumMaster and the CTO to drive a culture of best practice and improve their Agile processes.
This role would suit any Python Developer with high standards of software engineering. You may not have worked as a Lead Python Developer before but you will need to be comfortable embracing Agile and ensuring the the rest of the team build their tests before they start coding, manage the product feature backlog and generally drive best practice.
