A Transformation Programme Manager is required by a Global Energy Provider to join their Transformation and Change team. The role can be based in Coventry or Nottingham but will involve UK-wide travel as you work on a diverse array of projects across the country.|
You`ll need to work collaboratively with a separate IT delivery team and business sponsors in order to initiate and deliver substantial, complex programmes. Depending on the business` needs, at any one time you could be managing a large, complex cross-functional change project or manage a portfolio of projects. Either way, you`ll be driving lasting change by taking a hands-on approach through every stage of the project lifecycle leading project teams through mobilization to delivery and successfully embedding the change across the organisation. This is a role that offers huge scope to influence the way the business is run - you`ll be a senior member of the change team and will be liaising with people across the organisation, right up to Board level. You will be a Managing Successful Programme practitioner with experience of shaping large, complex change programmes. You will also ideally be a Prince 2 practitioner (or APMP or similar) with experience of scoping large projects that deliver transformational, business, cultural and organisational change. You will have knowledge of programme, project and PMO methodologies including Agile You must have experience of liaising with multiple stakeholders over a variety of business areas and with stakeholders of differing seniority. Strong influencing and negotiating skills are essential together with the ability to challenge the status quo constructively with the ability to influence at all levels
