Developing, supporting and maintaining software solutions by using company defined development tools
Suggesting and implement improvements of existing solutions and processes
Assisting in proposal development and project estimations
Contributing to all aspects of the SDLC, from specification and design, development, integration, rollout and maintenance

What qualifications will you gain?
A Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Computing from the University of Roehampton
Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Digital and Technology solutions from the University of Roehampton
Programme duration24-30 months (but you will have the opportunity to step off after 12-15 months if you find that the training/role isn't for you)
Experience with modern frameworks including Wicket, Spring etc.
Experience of Apache/Tomcat
Energetic, imaginative, creative, solution provider essential
An ability to adapt and respond calmly to constant challenges
Willingness to learn
Ambitious team player
Belief in own ability yet aware of own limitations
Enthusiastic, efficient and organised
Experience of relational databases with a good working knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of entire SDLC from design and architecture to implementation and deployment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2+ years' solid programming experience with Java/JSP/J2EE/J2SE
Structured and clear thinker: ability to prioritise a demanding workload and service multiple clients
The ability to get things done in a fast-paced, multi-tasked work environment
Open and friendly personality; able to interact with staff in a small company environment
The successful candidate should ideally be qualified to a QA Level 3 programme (Software & Web Development or Systems & Networking) OR Sector relevant A Levels totalling 240 UCAS point (eg 1x A* = 140, 1x A = 120, 1x B = 100 and 1x C = 80) OR A HNC in Computing
