This small yet growing company are looking for a software developer to come and join their team. This will be a fully functional hands on role and you will be exposed to all aspects of the company and the technologies they use.|
As a Software Development Apprentice your job includes:
Writing user guidance specification that will describe software requirements and how users interact with software.
Creating detailed documentation including mockups and description of the user journey.
Tools required: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
The above will require you to learn and understand the nature and functionality of the code and will be given basic understanding of how to write the code.
You'll be taught what code architecture is and how it works.
Creating test scenarios and configuring testing tools to perform automated testing.
After you've mastered testing and writing documentation and understand fully the code, you'll then be tasked to write code and will be instructed in detail which tools should use and how to debug and trace down bugs and errors
What experience and skills do I need?
You'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.
**Please note - as this is a level 4 apprenticeship, we can't progress candidates forward if they hold any of the following qualifications: Undergraduate / Masters Degree, HND / HNC or Certificates of Higher Education.**
