The IT Operations Officer role will be varied, working with a number of different users both within and external to the IT Service Delivery Team. We're looking for someone with the drive, enthusiasm and determination to help continually improve the service our users receive.|
As an IT Operations Officer your job includes:
Accurate recording of incidents and requests including categorisation and prioritising according to our SLA's
Provide Tier 1 & 2 support to 1300 users aiming for a first tier resolution rate of 80%
Provide Service Desk cover on a rota basis between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00
Provide exceptional levels of customer service
Take full ownership of allocated tickets ensuring users are updated in a timely manner and escalation promptly where necessary
Answering requests for assistance via the Service Desk helpline and mailbox
Providing timely updates to our users on resolution timeframes
Configuration of new or existing hardware
Ensuring all tickets are updated and resolved in a timely manner
What experience and skills do I need?
You'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.
**Please note - as this is a level 3 apprenticeship, we can't progress candidates forward if they hold any of the following qualifications: Undergraduate / Masters Degree, HND / HNC or Certificates of Higher Education.**
