An exciting opportunity for a recently qualified front end developer to apply and develop their coding skills in a fast-paced professional environment. You'll provide additional capacity for our Agile team, as we grow our project base supporting new ventures in both the UK and internationally.|
What you'll be doing as an Apprentice Software Developer
Plan, architect and develop components and restful services
Develop and update functionality and applications
Ensure solutions are scalable, robust and future-friendly
Develop by applying best practices, frameworks and code libraries appropriately
Contribute to: daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives, sprint reviews and planning sessions
Provide breakdowns of relevant project tasks with reasonably accurate estimates of time and work involved
Requires gathering, formulating approach, completion of projects and individual tasks to deadline; communicate project risks as soon as they are identified; suggest solutions to problems
Participate in code reviews
25 days holiday per year
What experience / skills do I need?
You'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.
Adaptable fast learner and good team player
Innovative with the use of technology, data and content
Great communication skills
Able to demonstrate a knowledge of relevant technical standards with a hunger to continually learn and develop
