In this job you will...
Assist in the creation and development of eBooks and to assist in the growing web design arm of the company. The work is varied and interesting and would particularly suit an applicant that has interests in science fiction, programming and a keen desire to innovate and be involved in the rapidly expanding field of digital publishing. The successful candidate is expected to be able to work on paid projects for clients as well as contribute to the successful branding of the company's publishing and services.

Your training will...
Start with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment, covering: Object-oriented programming (OOP), SQL data modelling, Web and systems development, Event-driven programming.
You will gain City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in IT Systems & Principles and IT Professional Competence, as well as a Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) in software development fundamentals. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £40k in the IT sector.

- The successful applicant MUST have a working knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS and be able to learn and self-learn in-house coding styles, industry standards and be willing to experiment and improve on currently used methods.
- The applicant MUST be able to demonstrate work that they have done before and explain their work during an interview.
