Business Analyst
£40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

Our client is an industry leader in the provision of technologically advanced solutions which help global brands transform the way they communicate with both customers and stakeholders. As a result of a recent promotion the organisation now needs to appoint an ambitious and capable Business Analyst to work within the Programmes team.

The primary aim of the role is to support the technology programme and change team by providing business and technical analysis, development team support (SCRUM) and project management in to deliver successful technology solutions.

Key responsibilities:
•Responsible for business analysis activities on projects and programmes of all sizes.
•Support the delivery of both client and business facing technology solutions and infrastructure projects
•Provide support to internal stakeholders when defining technical solutions.
•Define overall requirements (user Stories); create documentation of these requirements broken down, which can be followed in order to create suitable software.
•Work with stakeholders within the business and external client stakeholders where relevant to elicit, capture, analyse, refine and communicate / document their requirements.
•Perform software investigations, analyse and deliver outcomes to the team and stakeholders across the business, offering suggestions and evaluating alternatives.
•Manage functional requirement gathering, documentation and execution using Agile Project Management tools.
•Support product demos and acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders.
•Produce the technical support documentation that can be used by product support teams, following the testing and implementation of technology projects.
•Ensure a consistent programme and change process is applied to all technology projects.
•Ensure that projects have accurate and current project governance documentation
•Support, monitor and track all projects until they have transitioned into Business as Usual (BAU).
•Performing the day to day Agile (SCRUM) process with the development and test teams.
•Support the other Programme and Change team members as an intermediary point of contact, as and when cover is required.
•Provide budget numbers to support monitoring of Return of Investment (ROI) of projects.

Skills and experience required:
•Familiarity with key software technologies; C#. (url removed), MVC, SOA
•Knowledge of SQL
•Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
•Business and Systems analysis experience
•Strong analytical/ problem solving skills
•Agile (SCRUM)
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Strong Microsoft Office Skills
•Experience of coordinating multiple projects
•Excellent organisation and time management
•An Agile qualification (desirable)
•A Project Management qualification (PRINCE 2) is desirable
