Who you'll work for|
As a Technical support Apprentice, you'll be working in the specialist business unit focusing on security, unified communications, specialist software and services. Reporting to the 24/7 Team Leader, you'll be joining a growing team and will help in providing professional and proactive support to customers and resellers. This is an entry level shift-based position with excellent career progression, support and prospects.
As a Technical support Apprentice, your job includes:
Providing proactive and technical support and managed services to customers and resellers;
Provide configurations, troubleshooting and best practices to customers and resellers
Supporting other team members
Attend vendor and industry-recognised training
Maintaining and improving personal knowledge and technologies
Working a rotating 24x7x365 shift pattern
You'll be working in a very young, driven team with continuous progression throughout
The harder you work, the more you'll progress; all senior positions are filled from within the existing support team
Plenty of ongoing training, both internal and external vendor accredited training
Technically focused support team working with a wide range of technologies including UC, security and Networking
What experience and skills do I need?
The ideal candidate will have at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.
Therefore, you'll have the following skills:
Excellent written and verbal skills, any existing technical qualifications and/or experience will help but are not essential
High capability to cope under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team
Must be willing to undergo BPSS and SC level clearance
You might also have (but don't need):
A full UK drivers licence is preferable but not essential for this position

Following this, progression is available into senior internal or external roles including pre-sales, consultancy or training, Permanent positions are accompanied by bonus objectives and increase in salary
