Job Title: Data Quality Assurance Engineer.

Job description. You'll use your skills & expertise to help bolster, improve & optimise the testing process to ensure robustness of the system. You'll be working directly with data scientists, developers & other quality assurance engineers, immersing yourself into the Agile/SCRUM environment. You'll develop & manage processes that ensure data analysis & quality checks are performed throughout the data workflow.
Validating statistical models.
Performing quality reviews to ensure solutions meet high standards.
Providing early feedback from exploratory testing to resolve issues as soon as possible.
Logging, retesting & closing bugs, reproducing & debugging issues & providing data scientists & developers with good bug reports.
Helping to maintain testing & demonstration infrastructure & hardware.
Designing & implementing automated tests.
Working across various groups & effectively drive testing cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies & requirements.
Working with the wider client team to ensure the product is the best it can be.
Being positive & infectiously enthusiastic about the values & vision of the client.
Technical skills wise the client is looking for:
Data analysis experience, in particular, coding in R.
A minimum 2:1 degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
A passion & aptitude for technology.
Proactive, enthusiastic & energetic.
Tenacious & resilient.
Excellent communication, organisational skills & attention to detail.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Knowledge of data analysis technologies e.g. Pandas, Jupyter, PostgreSQL.
Experience of working with source control & automated build & test systems.
Experience of testing mobile applications & web platforms.
Knowledge of testing in an Agile environment.
Experience of working with JIRA.
Ability to use Apple hardware, including Mac laptops & iPads.
