Job Overview: Our client has retained our services to assist them in appointing an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their injection moulding manufacturing site. As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for teams of engineers including training and development, PPM scheduling, machine root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, breakdown organisation and working to KPI's. For this role you must be an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Manager / Team Leader who has recent experience of working with an injection moulding manufacturing environment. You must have a Multi Skilled technical background ideally with experience of PLC controls, installations and pneumatics, hydraulic fault finding. This role is 50% hands on and 50% managerial duties. |
For area for responsibility:
• Leadership and organisation of maintenance teams and resource
• Leading and developing of the site PPM system
• Leading of breakdown reduction via root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Leading the training and development of the level 2 maintenance team
• Support engineering tasks
• Support autonomous maintenance tasks
• Continuous understanding of current problems within area of responsibility
Electro/ mechanical qualification - good engineering qualifications + 10 years maintenance experience & knowledge of injection moulding machines
• Maintenance engineering
• PPM systems
• Process knowledge
• Electrical circuit controls
• Hydraulic controls
• PLC and Software
