Field Based - Covering the UK
Our client, a leading company working within the renewable energy sector, currently required an Electrical & Instrumentation / E&I Engineer to join their team. This is a field based role covering sites across the UK and you'll be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of electrical and controls systems.
As an E&I Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out installation, commissioning, fault finding and repair activities on electrical systems, PLCs, controls and instrumentation. This will involve working on process equipment and machinery, as well as carrying out PLC programming and fault finding on Siemens PLC control systems.
In order to be considered for this role, you'll need to hold a relevant instrumentation / electrical engineering qualification (HNC / HND / apprenticeship etc.), as well as experience in the maintenance, servicing and installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment. You will also need to possess a sound knowledge of Siemens PLCs, including programing.
As this is a field based role covering sites across the UK, you must hold a full and valid UK driving licence.
