Our client, a leading company working within the waste management and waste treatment sector, currently require an Approved Electrician / Electrical Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for electrical maintenance and installation activities on a large process site based in Southampton, Hampshire.
As an Approved Electrician, you will be tasked with carrying out installation, fault finding, testing, planned maintenance and reactive repairs on all electrical plant equipment. This will involve conducting inspection in safety critical and hazardous environments, so you will need to possess a good understanding of health & safety requirements.
In order to be considered for this position, you'll need to be ECS / JIB electrical apprenticeship served, have 17th Edition IEE regulations, as well as have proven experience in an Approved Electrician / Electrical Technician role working within the process sector (waste processing / power generation / chemical etc.). An in date CompEX certificate would also be beneficial.
