Group Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor|
£40,000 + company car, pension & 26 days + bank holiday

As the Group Health, Safety and Environment Advisor you will have a proven track record of delivering Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment; ideally from the food, FMCG or J.I.T (Just In Time) industry. It is imperative that you have obtained a NEBOSH Diploma and have an active membership with the CIEH or IOSH.
You must also hold a full driving license as this position will require supporting multiple sites within the group. You must also be able to follow and maintain working standards, procedures & processes whilst using your own initiative to provide support to the management teams. You will also be able to promote a continuous improvement philosophy.
As the HSE Advisor you will be in charge of all Health and Safety for multiple sites, this will include responsibility of:
• Implementation and support of ISO14001, ISO9001 and ISO18001
• Supporting and enhancing the corporate HSE/QA strategy at both at group and site level
• Ensure the continued development of the governance plan and policy development
• Influencing better behaviours towards Health & Safety in a transitional change culture
• Delivering information to shop floor through to executive levels
You will also be at the forefront of supporting internal and external audits and maintaining relationships with external safety regulators. You must be able to follow and maintain working standards, procedures & processes whilst using your own initiative to provide support to the management teams. You will also be able to promote continuous improvement philosophy.
